All Progressives Congress (APC) has postponed sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination forms.
This means members of the party eyeing one elective office or the other will have to tarry for a while.
The ruling party had initially slated Saturday for commencement of sale of forms but a visit to the party secretariat showed a delay in the commencement of the exercise.
A source at the party secretariat attributed the hiccup to delay on the part of the contractor. He disclosed that the contractor had not delivered the forms as of the close of work on Friday.
The source assured that the sale of the forms would begin soon after they had been delivered to the secretariat and logistics fine-tuned.
“The delay is because the contractor did not deliver the forms as at close of work on Friday, but may deliver before the weekend runs out” News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) quoted the source as saying.
“If that happens, sale of forms could begin on Monday or Tuesday.
“The party’s National Working Committee will determine the new date,” the source said.
