Zamfara NSCDC Assures Hitch-Free Eid El Fitr, Deploys 700 Personnel

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Zamfara State Command, has deployed over 700 troops to different places of worship and leisure locations in the State for Eidi Fitr celebration and the Federal Government of Nigeria’s designated public holidays.

According to the State Commandant of the Corps, Mr. A A Sparks, who is represented by the Deputy Commandant, Operations, Mr. B B Bodinga, the deployment is intended to guarantee that the celebration of Salah goes off without a hitch and without any animosity.

“No stone will be left unturned in maintaining security in the state” he added.

He warned all hoodlums and miscreants planning mischief to relocate from the state as Zamfara State is no longer a safe haven for criminals.

The Commandant through the Head of Operations said that the Rapid Response Squad and the female Arms Squad have been briefed and deployed accordingly to commence patrol before, during and after the holiday periods.

He also said all motor parks and various bus stops have been adequately manned by the intelligent unit of the Corps to checkmate commuters’ movement.

“The Corps has also made a comprehensive deployment to the various Eid grounds during the Sallah periods for security coverage”

The state Commandant, however, congratulated all Muslim faithful for the Ramadan which is successfully coming to an end and also wished them a happy Eid el Fitr celebration in advance.
