Ekiti Governor Kayode Fayemi is continuing his visits to All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders as he prepares to run for president in 2023.
On Wednesday, the governor issued an update on Facebook.
Fayemi on Tuesday announced a meeting with Kano Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and Nasarawa Governor Abdullahi Sule.
The Ekiti governor stated that the meetings were held “for further consultations regarding the APC Presidential Primary election.”
Senator George Akume, former Governor of Benue and Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, also met with Fayemi.
“The meetings provided an avenue to listen to and exchange ideas on the best approaches to advance the frontiers of the national agenda”, he noted.
Fayemi added that they also discussed ways to re-engineer Nigeria’s governance system and its responsive capacity to issues of national co-existence.
