Fresh registrants in the ongoing nationwide Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) reached 8,855,996 as at May 2.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) provided the information on Thursday, May 5.
The weekly update for Quarter Four, Week Three shows that 5,415,619 Nigerians have completed their registration.
A total of 2,379,063 did online registration, while 3,036,556 did physical registration.
Those who completed theirs include 45,412 Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) and 3,745,129 youths.
INEC has received 15,789,718 applications for voter transfer, replacement of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and change of voter information record.
Meanwhile , in distribution figures, 8,330,813 are males, while 7,458,905 are females.
In another development, the electoral body yesterday, warned political parties pressuring it to extend the June 3 deadline to have a rethink because it will not be done.
