Terrorists who attacked the Abuja-Kaduna train on March 28, have released one of the pregnant women among the abductees.
According to the correspondent, the pregnant woman was released on a compassionate ground by the terrorist group suspected to be Ansaru Islamic sect, a breakaway of the Boko Haram sect.
The pregnant woman in black Abaya (long gown) attire with a face mask via a viral video trending on social media called on the Federal Government to negotiate with bandits.
This, she said, had become imperative as a result of the uncertainty surrounding the plight of others who were languishing in the terrorists’ den.
She, however, added that they were been fed well by the terrorists, adding that the terrorists also take care of their medication.
According to the PUNCH report, the pregnant woman was among the abducted passengers of the ill-fated AK9 Abuja-Kaduna train attack by terrorists on March 28, 2022.
One of the pregnant women delivered a baby girl while in the kidnappers’ den.
With the latest release of the pregnant woman, it make thrice the number of those that had regained freedom from the terrorists den among them, the Managing Director of Bank of Agriculture, Alwan Hassan after payment of N100m and Sadique, the son of the Convener of the Northern Elders Forum, Prof. Ango Abdullahi.
