French former professional footballer, who is an ex Manchester United striker, Louis Saha has chosen the player the club should sign between West Ham’s Declan Rice and Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong.
With Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic and Jesse Lingard set to leave the club this summer, Both Rice and De Jong are likely to move to Manchester United.
When asked about who would be a better option for Manchester United, Saha picked Rice over De Jong, claiming that the England international is an asset and will provide security in the midfield.
“De Jong has not played in the Premier League, so he will need time to adapt, but what a talent,” Saha told Lord Ping.
“It’s hard to pick. The West Ham captain [Decline Rice] is a brilliant prospect and very strong in the middle of the park. He’s an asset defending and going forward.
“If I had to pick, I would go for Rice as he provides security and it would be easy for him to adapt because of his experience of playing many years in the Premier League.”
