President Muhammadu Buhari paid a special visit to the families of the nine people killed in the Sabon Gari gas explosion in Kano on Monday.

Governor Umar Abdullahi Ganduje said during the visit that his government has already provided N1 million to each family.
He said 27 people were seriously injured, and the government has covered the cost of their medical treatment, as well as taking steps to prevent a repeat.
Bayero thanked the President for visiting the families of those who died in the incident.
He said this signifies the President’s concern and love for Nigerians, adding that his Emirates would continue to pray for peace and stability in the country.
Bayero also commended the President for doing all he could to saved Nigeria from collapse, praying that the forthcoming general elections would be peaceful and Nigeria would have desired leaders like him who are concerned with the growth and progress of the nation.
