Valentine Ozigbo has accused Chris Uba, a People Democratic Party (PDP) board of trustees member of hijacking the result sheet for the ward congress to elect delegates in Anambra state.
Ozigbo is in the race for the PDP ticket to contest the Anambra south senatorial election.
Accusing Uba of impunity, Ozigbo said the politician “hijacked the panel and results sheet” for the congress expected to take place in the wards across the state.
Ozigbo described the alleged action of Uba as “impunity”, while he called on Iyorchia Ayu, national chairman of the PDP, to intervene in the matter.
He wrote on Twitter: “This impunity must stop. We are all here, members and stakeholders of@officialPDPNig in Anambra State and lo, and behold, an aspirant Chris Uba has hijacked the panel and results sheets for the 3-man Ad Hoc Congress to hold in all wards today
“This impunity can only be possible because some National officers of our party allow it. National Chairman@IyorchiaAyu, please intervene, rescue and remedy the situation to save your legacy.”

Ozigbo, candidate of the PDP in the 2021 Anambra governorship election, had in April declared his intention to contest the senatorial election in 2023.
The screening committee of the PDP had subsequently disqualified Ozigbo from contesting.
The panel had said Ozigbo was disqualified because he submitted his expression of interest and nomination forms after the deadline set by the party.
A few days later, Ozigbo announced that he had been cleared to contest.
“I want to thank all the people who reached out to me, expressed concern, and took action in the past week over the status of my screening for the senatorial primary of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),” he had said.
Ozigbo was runner-up in the Anambra governorship election won by Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
