Antonio Rudiger, a Germany international, has expressed his delight at joining Real Madrid from Chelsea.
Rudiger had earlier signed a four-year contract with Real Madrid after leaving Chelsea.
On Monday, June 20th, at 12 p.m., the defender will be introduced as a Real Madrid player.
Rudiger reacted by tweeting on Thursday that he is “proud” to be joining Real Madrid and that he “cannot wait” to play for the “huge” club.
“I’m proud to announce that I’ll be joining @RealMadrid,” he tweeted.
“I’m super excited for all the challenges ahead and can’t wait to play my first games for this huge club.”
Rudiger joined Chelsea from AS Roma back in 2017.
He made his Chelsea debut as a substitute in their August Community Shield against Arsenal.
