Thirteen presidential aspirants on the platform of the All Progressives Congress have been cleared to contest the party’s primary.
The Chairman of the screening committee, John Odigie-Oyegun, disclosed this on Friday.
Oyegun, the maiden chairman of the party, made the disclosure when he submitted his report to the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, at an ongoing meeting of the Nationa Working Committee.
However, the names of those screened are not disclosed, but about 23 persons bought the nomination forms of the party.
This means twelve aspirants will likely not take part in the presidential primary slated for june 6.
