The Super Eagles arrived in Abuja on Saturday after a trip to the United States of America, and will hold their first training session on Sunday night ahead of their AFCON qualifiers against Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe in 2023.
On Thursday, Jose Peseiro’s side will face the Leone Stars at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
On Monday, June 13, the West Africans will travel to Marrakech, Morocco, for their matchday two match against Sao Tome and Principe.
In the United States, the Super Eagles lost both of their friendly matches against Mexico and Ecuador.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the team will have two more training sessions.
Peseiro has freshened up his squad for the qualifiers with the likes of Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze, Leon Balogun, Kenneth Omeruo, and Captain Ahmed Musa joining the team in Abuja after missing the qualifiers.
