Samuel Alumka, the former Administrator of Kogi State’s Bassa Local Government Area, has died.
Alumka died while traveling to Abuja for the All Progressives Congress (APC) special convention.
According to reports, Alumka, a current appointee of Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, died in a fatal car accident in Gwagwalada.
He ran in the House of Assembly election for the Bassa State constituency but was defeated by his opponent.
According to a family source who spoke to reporters on Tuesday, his remains are being transported to his country home in Bassa Local Government.
It was previously reported that Alhaji Isa Baba Buji, an APC delegate from Jigawa State’s Buji Local Government Area (LGA), died in Abuja.
