Ekiti State governor Kayode Fayemi Tuesday night withdrew from the All Progressives Congress’s presidential primary and endorsed former Lagos State governor Bola Tinubu.
Fayemi said “stepping down” for the former Lagos State governor was a not favour but a duty.
Apart from asking delegates from his state to vote for Tinubu, Fayemi also insisted that he pledged to help him win the presidency if he wins the primary election.
The Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Dimeji Bankole also withdrawn from the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary to support Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He called on all delegates to vote for Tinubu.
