Alexandre Lacazette, a former Arsenal captain, had his medical today in preparation for his free transfer to Lyon.
The Gunners’ contract with Lacazette expires at the end of June.
The Frenchman’s departure has already been confirmed by both the Frenchman and the Premier League club.
In the summer of 2017, the 31-year-old joined the Gunners for £46 million from Lyon.
He scored 71 goals in 206 games for Arsenal during his time there.
However, the goals dried up a little for Lacazette this season – he scored six in 36 games – and he and Arsenal have now decided to go their separate ways.
