Kolapo Alimi, a former commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs has been declared as Deputy Director General, Ademola Adeleke campaign organisation.
This is coming barely two months after the former commissioner denied viral jingle, disclosing that he has dumped the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC) and moved to the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP).
The declaration was confirmed by the Director General of the campaign council and former chairman of the Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, Hon. Sunday Bisi.
The former commissioner, Alimi while speaking with newsmen also confirmed his appointment.
“I can confirm it to you that have been appointed as Deputy DG, Adeleke Campaign Council. We are planning on our defection to the PDP.
“By the grace of God, come Wednesday, we will officially join the PDP and say bye bye to the APC.” he said.
