Tyrell Malacia, a defender from Feyenoord, will be joining Manchester United after a personal agreement was reached.
Fabrizio Romano, a football transfer expert, predicts that Man United will now agree to a €15 million plus €2 million add-ons contract with Feyenoord to acquire Malacia.
Erik ten Hag’s first signing at Man United, according to Romano, would be Malacia as manager.
“Tyrell Malacia to Manchester United, here we go! Agreement reached on personal terms, waiting to sign the contracts soon for €15m plus €2m add-ons to Feyenoord. Malacia will be the first signing of the ten Hag era.
“OL deal hijacked, as revealed on Tuesday – now confirmed,” Romano tweeted on Friday.
Meanwhile, Ten Hag failed to sign Malacia for Ajax last summer.
The Dutch coach was unable to sign the 22-year-old left-back due to the huge rivalry with Feyenoord.
Malacia is expected to challenge Luke Shaw for his place in Man United’s squad.
