Prior to receiving official word that he is leaving Manchester City for Chelsea, Raheem Sterling took a flight to Los Angeles to meet up with his future Chelsea teammates.
Sterling has already had a medical and is about to sign a £47.5 million, with the option of an additional £50 million, deal with the Blues.
The England international might make his Chelsea debut against Arsenal in the Florida Cup final the following Saturday or in Charlotte on Thursday.
Blues boss, Thomas Tuchel, made it clear he wanted Sterling to take on a key role in his attacking overhaul.
Sterling will sign a five-year contract worth significantly more than his existing £300,000 a week.
There is also the option for him to extend it for one more year.
