On Sunday, Peter Obi and Datti Baba-Ahmed met with former president Olusegun Obasanjo.
The former governor of Anambra and former member of the House of Representatives are running for president on the Labour Party ticket (LP).
The 2023 candidates were welcomed by Obasanjo at his home in the capital of Ogun State, Abeokuta.
Additionally present was social justice activist and senior pastor of Trinity House, Ituah Ighodalo.
Oseloka Obaze, an ally of Obi’s and a former UN representative, posted pictures of the meeting on social media.
Obaze was the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer for the 2017 Anambra governorship election.
The parley is believed to be part of Obi’s consultations ahead of the general elections next year.
