Georgina Rodriguez, the partner of Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo, reportedly wants him to go back to Madrid.
Ronaldo is trying to leave Old Trafford this summer after missing their preseason tour of Australia and Thailand due to family obligations.
In order to compete for the biggest trophies in the latter stages of his career, the 37-year-old wants to leave Manchester United.
However, the Spanish newspaper Diario Sport claims that there are additional explanations.
The report claimed that Georgina wants Ronaldo to return to Spain, with Madrid top of the list.
Georgina and Cristiano met in the Spanish capital back in 2016, when the forward was playing for Real Madrid.
But Ronaldo could return to the city to represent rivals Atletico Madrid as their manager Diego Simeone is interested in bringing the Portugal captain back to LaLiga.
Georgina and Ronaldo have two children together: a daughter, Alana Martina, who was born in November 2017, and a baby daughter born in April this year.
Tragically, the couple lost a baby boy during the birth earlier this year.
