The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board announced the cut-off marks for universities and polytechnics in the country.
The announcement was made after a meeting of stakeholders in the country’s education system.
Those at the meeting include officials from JAMB, the Ministry of Education, the National Universities Commission, and the National Board for Technical Education among others.
It was a stormy session as stakeholders had a heated argument before arriving at the decision.
For the polytechnics, 120 cut-off mark was approved while 140 was ratified for universities.
Recall that students of federal government owned universities have been at home for nearly half a year now due to industrial action embarked upon by their lecturers.
