The Governor of Niger, Abubakar Bello, has given his approval for the immediate termination of the appointment of Alhaji Abdullahi Arah to the position of Director-General of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
This information was communicated on Saturday in Minna through a statement that was signed by Alhaji Ahmed Matane, who serves as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
“The removal of the director-general is to facilitate, accelerated implementation of the reforms being initiated by the government towards the attainment of the SDGs in the state,” Matane said.
According to him, Arah is incapable of piloting the affairs of his office as required by the state government having failed to perform to its expectations.
