Aminu Tambuwal, the governor of Sokoto, paid ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo a visit on Sunday in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
They met at the former president’s penthouse residence at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL).
According to a statement released by spokesman Kehinde Akinyemi, Tambuwal arrived around 1:30 p.m., accompanied by several of his most important aides.
The governor and his host parted ways at approximately 2:40 pm after having a conversation about various issues affecting the nation.
Obasanjo had his lunch with his guest who later prayed at the mosque inside OOPL before leaving the premises.
