Michy Batshuayi, a striker for Chelsea, may make an unexpected move to Everton this summer.
The Belgian has been chosen by Everton manager Frank Lampard to replace Richarlison, who has joined Tottenham.
The international player from Belgium only has one year left on his contract with Arsenal, and he is prepared to permanently leave the club.
The striker joined the Blues in 2016 in a £35m deal from Marseille, but failed to establish himself in the Chelsea’s first-team under the club’s various managers.
The Belgium striker scored 14 goals for Turkish side, Besiktas, where he spent last season on loan.
Although Batshuayi has been given a squad number at Stamford Bridge for the new season, he is not expected to be part of Thomas Tuchel’s plans.
TalkSPORT reports that the Belgian is heading to Everton to replace Richarlison who left for Tottenham earlier in the summer.
Apart from Batshuayi, Frank Lampard is eager to sign midfielders, Ross Barkley, Conor Gallagher and Billy Gilmour, as well as striker Armando Broja from Chelsea.
