Cristiano Ronaldo, the star forward for Manchester United, now has a better chance of competing in the Champions League this year.
Ronaldo might team up with former Manchester United and Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez at Marseille.
The possibility of a transfer to Marseille has been raised, and former Marseille player Jean-Charles De Bono confirmed it.
According to De Bono, Marseille, who were last season’s Ligue 1 runners-up, have already conducted a study into the financial feasibility of a transfer for the 37-year-old hero.
“A study is being carried out to find out what Ronaldo could bring to the club financially,” he said, according to talkSPORT.
“This was also done by PSG at Messi.
“Olympique decided to study the impact Ronaldo is having on sponsors around the world to bring them to Marseille,” he added.
