Abducted Enugu law students regain freedom after 8 days

The abducted students of Nigerian Law School in Agbani, Enugu State Campus, have regained their freedom.

Chukwuemeka and Festus Pedro, two students, were kidnapped last Wednesday inside the Eke market in Agbani’s Nkanu West Local Government.

WITHIN NIGERIA gathered that the kidnappers later demanded a N50 million ransom to release the victims.

Their abductors released the duo on Wednesday afternoon.

However, it is still unclear if any ransom was paid to secure the students’ release.

Journalists were informed by one of the students that the victims arrived back on campus on Thursday night.
