The Academic Staff Union of Universities ASUU, is ready to begin their meeting to take a definite stand on the ongoing strike which has lingered on for over six months.
It was reliably gathered that the highly crucial meeting is happening at the University of Abuja campus, the headquarter of ASUU.
Although some State universities are already pulling out of the strike, today’s meeting may possibly bring the strike to an end or elongate it.
Recall that the Federal Government had last week insisted on a no-work-no pay policy against the striking academics, a development that angered the executive of the union led by Prof. Emmanuel Osokode.
