Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, a former forward for Arsenal, is reportedly on his way back to the Premier League after Chelsea and Barcelona reportedly reached a deal.
According to football journalist Guillem Balague, the Blues and Aubameyang have reached an agreement in principle on a deal worth £12 million plus defender Marcus Alonso.
The Gabonese player joined the Spanish powerhouses from Arsenal in January and tallied 13 goals in 24 games.
The deal with Barcelona in January had a buyout clause of 100m euros, but he has only played eight minutes this season.
If the move to Stamford Bridge pulls through, the 33-year-old one-time African Player of the Year would be Chelsea’s seventh signing this summer.
