The hopes of former Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba to play in the World Cup are now in jeopardy.
Football expert, Fabrizio Romano disclosed that the France international is set to undergo knee surgery.
Juventus staff have decided the midfielder needs surgery on his meniscus in his right knee, according to the report.
Pogba, who left Manchester United for Juventus this summer, was part of the France side that won the World Cup in Russia.
But with the finals in Qatar to kick off on November 20, Pogba’s hopes of playing for Les Bleus are in jeopardy.
“Bad news for Paul Pogba. He will undergo surgery on the meniscus in his right knee – Juventus staff have decided together with Paul today,” Romano said.
