Erik ten Hag, manager of Manchester United, resisted making a statement about Chelsea’s decision to fire Thomas Tuchel on Wednesday.
Tuchel was fired by the Blues after a dismal start to the current season.
In the Champions League on Tuesday, Dinamo Zagreb defeated his team by a score of 1-0, marking his final match in charge.
Ten Hag, who takes charge of his first European fixture as United boss on Thursday in the Europa League, was asked about the decision.
“I’m sorry, there is nothing I can say about it.
“It’s Chelsea, not Manchester United.
“[But] it is early in the season,” he said at his press conference.
