Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is being monitored by doctors at Balmoral, according to Buckingham Palace, after medical professionals expressed concern for her health, according to the BBC.
The Queen’s doctors are concerned for her health and have advised that she remain under medical supervision, according to a statement released by the Palace this morning.
“The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.”
According to reports, the announcement comes after the Queen, 96, left a fictitious Privy Council meeting on Wednesday because her doctors had advised her to take it easy.
Liz Truss, UK’s Prime Minister, said the “whole country” would be “deeply concerned” by the news.
She added, “My thoughts – and the thoughts of people across our United Kingdom – are with Her Majesty The Queen and her family at this time,”
Recall that the Queen appointed Ms. Truss as prime minister at Balmoral on Tuesday, instead of travelling to London for the event.
