The Super Eagles held their first training session on Tuesday evening, ahead of a double-header against Algeria’s Desert Foxes.
Under the supervision of head coach Jose Peseiro, 18 players participated in the drill.
On Tuesday night, more players are expected to arrive at camp.
Chidozie Awaziem, a defender for Croatia’s Hajduk Split, was the first player to arrive at the team’s camp on Monday.
The Super Eagles will take on the Desert Foxes in the first friendly on Friday at the Mohamed Maloiul Stadium, Constantine.
Algeria will field their local- based players in the game.
The second friendly is billed for next Tuesday at the Miloud Hadefi Stadium, Oran.
It will be against Algeria’s Team A led by Manchester City winger, Riyadh Mahrez.
