Four persons have died in the building collapse that occurred at Mushin area of Lagos, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has disclosed.
Ibrahim Farinloye, who made the disclosure to NAN on Friday evening, identified the deceased as two males and two females,
He added that one person was rescued.
A three-storey building had collapsed earlier on Friday on Sonuga street, Mushin area of Lagos state.
This recent incident comes weeks after Idris Salako, former Lagos commissioner for physical planning and urban development, resigned his appointment.
The commissioner resigned amid perennial building collapses in the state.
On September 4, a seven-storey uncompleted building collapsed at Oba Idowu Oniru street, in the Lekki area of Lagos.
At least six persons were reported dead.
In May, the collapse of a three-storey building in the Ebute-Meta axis of state claimed at least eight lives.
In February, a three-storey building collapsed in the Onike area of Yaba, leading to several casualties.
On November 1, 2021, a 21-storey building being developed by Fourscore Homes, collapsed in the Ikoyi axis of the state.
