The mother of the autistic teenager whose phone Cristiano Ronaldo broke at Goodison Park has pleaded with the Football Association to impose the “right punishment.” Sarah Kelly.
She asserted that Ronaldo “cannot keep getting away” with his “unacceptable behaviour.”
The Manchester United forward has already been fined by the FA after it was revealed that video showed him swatting a phone out of 14-year-old Jacob Harding’s hand.
Jacob’s mother has now urged the governing body to discipline Ronaldo appropriately.
“Let’s hope he finally gets the right punishment,” she told the UK Mirror.
“He can’t keep getting away with it. His behaviour is unacceptable.”
United face Crystal Palace in the Premier League after the international break.
