Salif Diao, a star for Senegal, has said that Jurgen Klopp is to blame for Sadio Mane leaving Liverpool this summer.
Diao claimed that Klopp did not love his fellow countryman enough.
Mane signed with Bayern Munich after spending six years with the Reds at Anfield.
Mane always had the impression that Mohamed Salah was the star during his time there.
The Premier League team desperately tried to keep Salah by making him the highest-paid player in their history. Salah’s contract was set to expire in June 2023.
But Mane was allowed to leave, while Klopp brought in Darwin Nunez from Benfica.
“I think he has been here for a couple of years and I think at some point he thought he did not have the love that he needed really, here at Anfield.
“I’m not talking about the fans, for him I think it was more with the manager,” Diao told the Liverpool Echo.
