Bruno Fernandes, a midfielder for Manchester United, claims that Christian Eriksen is the teammate who helps him play better.
Fernandes stated that he is pleased to have Eriksen as a teammate, adding that he has helped him become more effective. Eriksen joined Man United as a free agent this past summer after his short-term contract with Brentford expired.
The Portugal international stated this ahead of Man United’s Premier League tie with Manchester City on Sunday.
Fernandes and Eriksen have stood out in the middle of the park for Erik ten Hag’s side, who have won four of their first six Premier League games.
“It’s really good to play with Christian, he’s a player that can find the passes, find the pockets and obviously make my game easier because he finds me when I move between the lines. It’s something that’s not easy to do,” Fernandes said.
He added, “I’m really happy to have him on the team because, as I have said before, he’s a quality player. He’s a player who’s shown in the past that he has really good qualities in the Premier League, in the Italian league, and even for his national team.
He added: “So, it’s always a pleasure to play with players like him.”
