Bruno Fernandes, a midfielder for Manchester United, alleged that the team’s players lacked “attitude and belief” during Sunday’s 6-3 loss to Manchester City in the Premier League derby.
Fernandes could not lead Man United to victory as six goals from Erling Haaland and Phil Foden gave Man City all three points against Erik ten Hag’s side.
Man United stars, Antony and Anthony Martial, did score for the visitors against Pep Guardiola’s side.
“I think the attitude and the belief from the beginning was not the best,” Fernandes told MUTV.
“I think that caused us many problems and made us concede early goals. I think the second half was much better, we kept control more.”
Man United’s next Premier League match is against Everton on October 9 at Goodison Park.
