The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has returned from the United Kingdom after almost two weeks.
He arrived in Abuja, the administrative capital city of Nigeria, on Thursday evening.
Tinubu has been away from the country for almost 12 days in the United Kingdom.
His long absence and public relation gaffe by his handlers fuelled speculations about his health.
An old video of him on a stationary bicycle was posted on his official Twitter page on Sunday to, according to him, erase doubt about his wellbeing and existence.
However, his campaign spokesman, Festus Keyamo, confirmed his return in a Twitter post.
Keyamo posted a video of Tinubu alighting from a plane and wrote: “The Eagle has landed”.
He teased them; he played mind games with them; their thoughts went wild; but @officialABAT is the master of the game. Just when they thought they had something on which to feast, he’s rather the one now feasting on their naivety. Welcome back, the City Boy!
