The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will officially flag off its 2023 Presidential Election Campaign on Monday, October 10, 2022, in Uyo Akwa-Ibom State Capital. This is coming a few days after the party’s National Campaign Management Committee (NCMC), appointed new directors and deputy directors.
The PDP noted that it is ready for an issue-based campaign in all the States, Local Government Areas, Wards, and Polling Units across the country under the Unified Campaign Structure as approved by the National Executive Committee (NEC).
The statement which was released today by the national publicity secretary, Debo Olugunagba, posited that the campaign which will be people-driven, will focus on the party mission to Rescue, Rebuild and Redirect the nation from the abysmal misrule of the ruling party.
“ From our consultations across the six geo-political zones of the country, it is clear that Nigerians across the board, irrespective of religion, ethnicity, and even political affiliations accept the PDP Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, as the best Candidate with the practical experience, capacity, broad-mindedness, and willpower to Unite our nation, Revamp our national economy, and guarantee the security of lives and property in our country.” a part of the statement reads
According to the PDP, the country achieved national productivity and a boost in private Small and Medium Scale Enterprises in Nigeria under the administration of Olusegun Obasanjo, in which its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar was the vice president and Chairman of the National Economic Council.
