Peter Obi, a presidential candidate for the Labour Party, met with Sanusi Lamido, the ousted emir of Kano, in the United Kingdom.

Mr. Obi is said to have discussed matters of national importance regarding the economy, consumption, and production patterns with the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The former Anambra State governor who said the meeting was a ‘constructive engagement’ appreciated Lamido for his warm reception and insights.
