King Charles III’s coronation date has been determined, according to a tweet from Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.
“The Coronation of His Majesty The King will take place on Saturday 6 May 2023 at Westminster Abbey,” a statement on behalf of the royal family read.
“The Ceremony will see His Majesty King Charles III crowned alongside The Queen Consort.”
WITHINNIGERIA reported on the demise of Queen Elizabeth who was the first British monarch to reign for 70 years.
The queen died at Balmoral, Scotland at the age of 96 after 70 long years on the throne.
The late Queen lived through wars, colonial times and pandemics before passing away due to a short illness.
Buckingham Palace said she began having “episodic mobility problems.”
