Former Super Eagles forward Sylvester Igboun has officially signed with Indian Super League club NorthEast United FC.
The 32-year-old was given a free transfer to the Highlanders.
Igboun’s contract with Nizhny Novgorod in the Russian Super League was mutually terminated, and he left the team in March.
The striker once played for Ufa and Dynamo Moscow, having spent the majority of his professional career there.
The player, who is known for his blistering speed has been capped six times by Nigeria.
NorthEast United is based in Guwahati, Assam and played their home matches at the 25,000 seater Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium.
