A federal high court in Yola has nullified the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election in Adamawa.
Recall that the primary had produced Aishatu Binani as the party’s governorship candidate for Adamawa state.
However, her emergence has the party’s gubernatorial standard bearer has been plagued by controversy and litigation.
On Friday, the court annuls Binani’s election as Adamawa APC gubernatorial candidate.
In a judgement delivered on Friday, the court also declared that there will be no candidate for the APC in the state for the 2023 elections.
