Ademola Lookman, an Atalanta winger, is determined to keep up his impressive scoring form for the club.
On Saturday night, the Nigerian international scored the game-winning goal in Atalanta’s 2-1 victory over Sassuolo.
This summer, Lookman joined La Dea from Bundesliga club RB Leipzig.
The former Everton player, on the other hand, has settled in well in his new surroundings, scoring on a consistent basis for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side.
The 24-year-old has scored once in each of Atalanta’s last three Serie A games.
“I am very happy to be here, I feel very settled in the squad and the city. I am enjoying my football. Long may it continue,” he told Sport Italia.
Lookman also reflected on the win against Sassuolo.
“It was another tough match against another tough opponent, we’re glad to get the three points. The boys dug in deep and it was a resilient performance,” he added.
