Nigerian ex senior banker laments turning to cleaner after relocating to UK

An ex-senior executive with a Nigerian bank has shared her unpalatable job experience in the United Kingdom after relocating to the country.

She said a decent job was hard to come by when she moved to UK and she had to resort to taking up menial jobs.

She’s also disclosed the kind of work she eventually took on after relocating to the UK.

The person going by the name Floxy Obi notified users on social media that she is currently employed as a cleaner.

She posted a video of herself cleaning a living room in uniform on TikTok, adding that the reality overseas is very different from what many people think.

Floxy bemoaned her situation and admitted that, despite having a master’s degree, finding a white collar work was still difficult for her.

She then remembered how, when she was still working in Nigeria, she would ask questions of young bankers.

The ex-banker further urged the Nigerian government to mke the country progressive so that no citizen would have reasons to travel out.
