The chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission NIDCOM, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has reacted to reports of attack on Nigerian students in India.
WITHIN NIGERIA had reported that about 60 Nigerian students at Gurgaon university Dehli, have been forced out of the institution’s campus following a rift between them (Nigerians) and the local students while playing football.
Dabiri-Erewa said calm has been restored to the campus following the last Friday’s attack on Nigerian students.
Reacting to the incident via her Twitter handle, Ms. Dabiri-Erewa, said the incident has been brought under control and that calm has since been restored. She stated that the Nigerian Commission in India has notified the Indian authorities and made it clear to them that they will be held responsible if anything happens to any Nigerian student.
