Hoodlums attack Ondo hospital, steal equipment

The hoodlums attacked Ileri Oluwa House of Hope Hospital and carted away the equipment worth millions of naira in Ondo Town, Ondo State.

The founder of the hospital, Hakeem Oyeneyin, who described the attack as disheartening said the incident happened on Sunday night.

Oyeneyin explained that the attacker entered through the hospital roof and window. He noted that the hospital will be shut down pending the time the community will assure 100 per cent safety of lives and properties.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Funmilayo Odunlami, said the command had commenced investigation into the incident.

Odunlami said, “It was a case of burglary and we have commenced investigation into it.”
