Tammy Abraham of Roma told Victor Osimhen of Napoli that the Nigerian striker left the Giallorossi’s locker room dejected during their Serie A match on Sunday.
Napoli scored in the 80th minute to secure their 11th victory of the campaign and move four points ahead of AC Milan in second place.
After outwitting former Manchester United defender Chris Smalling, the former Lille striker scored a spectacular goal.
Abraham, a Chelsea product and former Blues striker, was on the opposing side of the pitch but couldn’t get through to help the Yellow and Reds.
According to a video shared on Twitter by German-based Nigerian reporter Oma Akatugba, who was on ground at the Stadio Olimpico, the Nigeria international and the England striker met up after the match.
And in a private chat, the England striker told his Nigerian counterpart that “he[Osimhen] made the whole [Roma] dressing room sad.”
Abraham scored 27 goals in all competitions in his first season in Italy and helped AS Roma win the Europa Conference League.
