Users of this communication app in Nigeria are currently unable to send or receive messages on the app.
The app experienced outage barely few minutes past 8:00 Tuesday morning (WAT)
The outage has prevented sending messages to groups, while personal messages display only one tick, an indication that they are sent but not delivered.

According to the Super Falcons star, who proposed a name change for the app, Whatsapp should change its name to “billing app” because there are many people asking for things on the app.
