A Nigerian man has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to raise the flag of the Labour Party (LP).
The man identified as @OGersh hoisted the Labour party flag, a (Nigerian political party), at Uhuru peak, Africa’s highest point.
The LP is the platform on which Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra state, will run for President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2023.
OGersh arrived at the mountain top on Friday, October 20, 2022, after 1012 hours of climbing, hiking, and trekking.
After his successful hoisting of the Labour Party flag, OGersh took to his Twitter handle @OGersh and wrote:
… I made it to the Uhuru Peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, 5,895m above sea level. There is no better place to announce the coming of a New Nigeria than the Rooftop of Africa
