Brendan Rodgers, the manager of Leicester City, has said that Wilfred Ndidi will be available for their Premier League matchup against Manchester City on Saturday.
Ndidi has been sidelined ever since the Foxes’ 4-0 victory over Nottingham Forest on October 3 when his hamstring injury relapsed.
Due to the setback, the midfielder has missed Leicester City’s last four contests.
The Nigerian has resumed full training with his teammates, according to Rodgers, and is prepared to take on the champions.
“The most important thing is he’s (Ndidi) back training in the squad and he’s looked fine with the players,” Rodgers was quoted by the club’s official website
Availability is the important thing, and thankfully he’s available.” Marc Albrighton was obviously back last weekend. We’re all fine. ”
The news will also delight Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro, who will be counting on Ndidi in the upcoming international friendly against Portugal.
The friendly against the former European champions will be held at the Estadio Jose Alvalade, Lisbon, on November 17.
